Don’t Forget These Last Minute Items!

As the eve of your wedding day approaches, you may find yourself having nightmares and worrying about any unknown last-minute items! Don’t worry it’s totally normal! Your mind is going a million miles an hour in anticipation of your day but rest assured your vendors will arrive on time and everything will go perfectly. This is what you have been planning for! However, to help put your mind at ease, we’ve compiled a list of some last-minute items to review. Definitely do NOT forget to check these off on your wedding day!

  1. Drink water to hydrate before the day starts and eat something, even if it’s a little snack. You won’t eat until late and you don’t want to pass out or get too drunk!

  2. Your rings! Make sure you or someone trustworthy has them at all times!

  3. DIY, backyard wedding? Do NOT forget the ice! You need about 1 pound per person, weather permitting of course!

  4. A copy of your invites and any other paper goods (like menus, save the dates, etc) for the photographer to get detail shots of

  5. For everyone in the wedding party and immediate family to take their sunglasses OFF during the ceremony and formal portraits!

  6. Designate a photo wrangler to assist the photographer. They will notify guests before that they will be needed for family portraits and help the photographer instruct which group goes next.

  7. Vendor Tips: Designate someone reliable to hand out your tips at the end of the night. Place them all in separate envelopes with the name of the company clearly listed on the front.

  8. Decor Items: Reserved Seating Signs, Letter Box, Toast Flutes, and Cake Knife/Server

  9. An Emergency Kit: If you hired a coordinator/planner, they will bring this. If you did not, be sure you or the venue have most of these items on hand! This is what we keep in our Moonbeam Kit.
